The Kempters are a family and vintage gospel band from Deatsville, AL. This video, far from a gospel video, is a fun video recorded by the Kempter Family a few years back when Chris Kempter was just a youngster. Chris (with all his twins) battles it out for a place in the band playing The Orange Blossom Special. Carson Peters started playing the fiddle at the ripe old age of 3 when his parents bought him a 1/8 size fiddle.  By age 4, he was playing in fiddle competitions and jamming at musical festivals. Now, at the age of 14, Carson plays with Carson Peters & Iron Mountain. This video is of Carson and Ricky Skaggs playing Bill Monroe’s Blue Moon of Kentucky when he was a young boy.


World’s fastest violinist plays Flight of the Bumblebee

Ben Lee the Guinness World Record holder for “Fastest Violin Player In The World”. In his first attempt before a TV audience of 3 million, Ben reached speeds of 15 notes per second but was deemed to have missed 3 notes. A further attempt was made on April 7th 2010, taking just 64.21 seconds to blaze through all 810 notes of the technically demanding “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Rimsky-Korsakov.
