I came across this blog and found it really interesting, I too was a later starter, (over 30!!)and have been playing now for about 19 years. It was a slow learning curve for the first 10 years! There is always something to learn and something to pass on. I love the violin, and am enjoy reading of other folks techniques and journeys. I never thought it possible to start so late and end up playing in orchestras but I do, it takes a lot of hard work and passion but as they say anything is possible if you believe...“It is not in doing what you like, but in liking what you do that is the secret of happiness.”
Hi EnglishGal and welcome to our forum. It is nice to have you with us, and I am glad you are finding the blog interesting.
"It was a slow learning curve for the first 10 years!" This gives me hope! 😀
It must be so rewarding to have started as an adult and be able to see your hard work result in playing in an orchestra.
I hope your stay with us is a good one!
